As well as winning over-all, drummer Todd Lester and guitarist/steel drummer Morgan Rael won awards for the events most valuable players for their instrument!! Three awards in one night! Here are some highlights from the finals:

High Mountain Groove is a trio from the mountains of BC, Canada. They start at Blues, Funk, and Rock and wander full on into reggae, country & calypso (and whatever they fancy. One recent song is a gospel/punk tune).
These talented friends take positive and interesting original tunes that are inspired by and reflect life in the Kootenay Mountains of BC and infuse them with energy and charm.
